Atlantic Ave · Est. New York
We started with flour, water, salt, and a stubborn refusal to rush. Now every loaf, every croissant, and every cup of coffee tells the same story — patience, done right.
"The kind of place that makes you pause your morning rush — just to breathe in the smell of fresh bread."
Our Story
Atlantic Bakery wasn't born from a business plan. It was born from the conviction that New York deserved a place where bread wasn't rushed, where coffee was treated like a craft, and where a simple croissant could actually feel like an event.
We source our flour from heritage mills, ferment our dough longer than most consider reasonable, and bake in small batches so nothing leaves our oven without earning its place on your plate. Every morning starts before dawn — because good things aren't going to make themselves.
What We Do Best
Three pillars. One oven. Every item made the same way — with time, care, and a respect for ingredients that does the talking.
Long-fermented, naturally leavened, and baked in small batches. Our sourdough has a crust that shatters and a crumb that begs to be torn apart. Made the old way, because the old way works.
Butter layers. Delicate crunch. Flaky, golden, and made from scratch every morning. Our croissants and pain au chocolat follow technique passed down through decades of French patisserie tradition.
Single-origin beans, carefully roasted and brewed to highlight what each origin does best. Whether you prefer a bold espresso or a clean pour-over, our baristas know their craft.
From the Oven
Behind every dish is a morning that started hours ago.
Kind Words
I drive past a dozen bakeries on my way to work. Now I pull in here every single morning. The sourdough alone is worth the detour.
The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else in the neighborhood. It feels intentional — like every detail was considered. And the coffee? Absolutely outstanding.
We ordered their pastry box for a family gathering. Twenty people, zero leftovers. That says everything you need to know.
